as a means to solve the problem of inaccessibility primarily due to financial constraint
particularly in the context of developing countries. Many scholarly literature are freely
accessible now without any hindrance. Open access endeavours to reduce barriers to scholarly
communication. The open access literature available in various forms like open access archives,
institutional repositories, open access journals and off late open courseware. The availability of

I personally believe that public and private authorities should put more stress in the development and regular updating of these repositories. It will become so much easier for people to get access to information and information sharing will become much easier than it is now.

I too personally feel at least all public institutes should mandatorily asked to maintain and update these repositories when they are running on public money. And an accord is needed to be established for channelizing free flow of information sharing in private institutes.
